Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Midland Fertility Services

We finish 2012 after celebrating 25 years of MFS and the birth of almost 5,500 babies.  In fact as I write this we are awaiting confirmation any day now of the birth of Baby 5,500 – get updates via Facebook and Twitter for news of this!

MFS also finished the year with confirmation by the HFEA that the unit has exceeded the national average for clinical pregnancy rates in four of the six age groups – ranking it No 1 amongst the seven West Midlands’ clinics.

In this issue read about the recurrent miscarriage information event on 7 February 2013 and how new Dad Lee Fisher celebrated the birth of his daughter with an MFS tattoo. Also, catch up with news of the MFS team – who’s new, who’s changing jobs and who’s celebrating.

Made in Aldridge tells the story of Stevie Hill whose birth last summer ended 15 years of miscarriage heartbreak for her parents, following recurrent miscarriage treatment at MFS.

Check out the Christmas closure details of the unit, especially if you will be in treatment over the holiday period.

The next newsletter will be out in March 2013 and if you don’t yet subscribe, complete the form to make sure it pops into your inbox on the day it’s issued.

We hope you enjoy the e-newsletter and welcome your feedback. And if you’ve found it a good read, why not tell a friend?

In the meantime, have a very Happy Christmas and a great start to 2013.
