MFS Egg Freezing in The Times

In The Times today, three pages about egg freezing quite rightfully includes comment from Dr Gillian Lockwood on the ethical, emotional, clinical and statistical implications of social egg freezing.

As the piece by Lucy Bannerman says: “It was (at MFS) in this unremarkable building in Aldridge, in the West Midlands, that in 2002 scientists supervised the conception of the UK’s first baby from a frozen egg, and the first twins in 2005.  In 2010, they had Britain’s first ‘flash-frozen’ baby, using a new and improved method called vitrification.”  Pretty impressive credentials really!
