Staff at Midland Fertility Services (MFS), one of the UK’s leading fertility clinics, are celebrating after gaining Investors In People (IiP) accreditation.

The Aldridge and Wolverhampton-based clinic has been recognised for its commitment to its employees after demonstrating the very best standards in staff development.

Anna Kavanagh, MFS quality and business director, said: “It’s important for staff and patients alike that we receive external recognition for staff training programmes, appraisal systems and internal communications – as they all help the clinic to run smoothly and enable us to offer the very best service for patients.

“We’ve met many of the criteria for some time but gaining IiP accreditation confirms our commitment to investing in our staff,” she said. “We have highly specialist staff who work within an increasingly regulated environment, which presents challenges to us all. Working towards the award has helped us focus on those systems which ultimately enable us to continually improve our standards and patient-care.”

Established in 1987 for the investigation and treatment of infertility, Midland Fertility Services specialises in assisted conception techniques and is licensed by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority. It is the longest established provider of advanced fertility treatments in the West Midlands, treats private and NHS patients and offers a range of services including IVF, ICSI, egg donation, egg and embryo freezing and sperm recovery procedures. Couples travel to Midland Fertility Services from throughout the UK and from all over the world.
