MFS PCT Contracts

MFS currently holds contracts to deliver a range of fertility investigations, male preservation and female preservation services and treatments for the following PCTs:

• Birmingham East & North Primary Care Trust
• Dudley Primary Care Trust
• Herefordshire Primary Care Trust
• Sandwell Primary Care Trust
• South Staffordshire Primary Care Trust
• Stoke-on-Trent Primary Care Trust
• Walsall Primary Care Trust
• Warwickshire Primary Care Trust

Liaison between patients and PCTs is managed by Linda Tanner, the MFS NHS contracts manager.  Some PCTs manage the waiting lists and refer the patient to MFS only when their funding is available while MFS manages the budgets and the waiting lists for others.  Criteria for funding differ for all the PCTs and should be confirmed either with the PCT commissioning manager or with Linda Tanner.

Funding for non-contracted services, including oocyte cryopreservation for young cancer patients, may also be sourced from PCTs with which MFS has contracts, or from other PCTs on an extra contractual referral (ECR) basis.
